She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hampton, Sr. and Bertha Litmon Hudson; and her sisters, Virgie Anita Sheppard and Beverly Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Cannon; her sons, Lewis "Andrew" Harris, Jr. and Quentin Harris (Raquel); her stepchildren, Stephanie Corbin, Tanja Haack and Gerri Cannon-Hill; and her siblings, Barbara Merritte, Valoria Hudson, Judy Brown (Daryl) and William Hampton, Jr. (Catherine). She is also survived by 7 nieces, 2 nephews, and many more loving family members.
