He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Burnette and Edith Morgan Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Frieda Meeks Burnette; his sons, Dion Burnette (Kari) and Randy Burnette; his brother Richard "Dick" Burnette (Diane); and his sibling's children, Robert, Danny, Susan and Leisa.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Palmer Cemetery.
