He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Elizabeth Scott and Tom Lee of Keysville, Georgia.. He is survived by: his friend Viney Roberson; his brother Alfred; his wife Daisy B. Gresham; his children, Phyllis [Neal] White, Beverly A. Scott of Nashville, TN. and Scott of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Jacinte'White, Thomas L. Scott II of Atlanta, GA and Johnneal White of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins.
