She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Alvin Hicks and Dorothy Jean Gann Hicks; and her brother Jamie Roger Hicks. She is survived by: her boyfriend Stanley Mayton; her children, April "Nikki" Lees (Anthony) and Stanley Mayton (Loren); her grandchildren, Tabitha Brown, Bradley Lees and Emmanuel Powell; her siblings, Gail Duffey, Wayne Hicks (Carolyn) and Wesley Hicks (Stacy); and her sisters-in-law, Kaye "Corkie" McPhail and Paula Hicks.
