We announce the death of Violet Marie (Bench) Rowell in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on June 18, 2026, at the age of 101. Violet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bench and Eleanor Bench (Bertine); her sister Rosalie; her husband Milo Rowell; and her brothers, Charles and Virgil.
She is survived by: her brother Jerom (Joan); her son Rex (Gaye); her grandchildren, Teresa (Eric), David (Lori) and Emma; and her great grandchild Julia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
