She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Thomas Ewton; her daughter Helen Marie Fryer (Carl); her parents, Luther Griffith and Viola Griffith; and her siblings, Dorothy King, Claude and Hubert Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Flynn, Joyce Higgins (Earl) of Murfreesboro, Judy Layne (Brian) of Dunlap and Roy Joe Ewton (Daphne) of McDonald Tennessee. She is also survived by 4 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
