He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Earl Everett and Bessie Corder Everett; his wife Madeline Everett; his sister Aileen Jackson; and his children, Eugenia Hurst and Todd Everett.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Everett (Melanie) and Darryl Everett (Debbie); and his sister Alwayna Everett. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Ch (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
In lieu of flowers, the Everett family requests that memorial contributions be made to Soddy First Baptist Church, 10185 Dayton Pike, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379.
