He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Sharpe and James "Jim" Sharpe; and his brother Ronnie Sharpe. He is survived by: his wife Janie Thompson Sharpe; his sons, Allen Sharpe (Cindy) of Whitwell, TN, Louie Sharpe (Michele) of New York, NY and Ricky Smith (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Katlyn Layne (Robby) of Whitwell, TN, Ashlyn Sharpe, Colby Sharpe of Whitwell, TN, Peyton Sharpe of New York, NY, Justin Smith (Ariel) and Savannah Lewis (Corey); his great grandchildren, Landry, Cooper Layne, Braylee, Gracelyn Lewis and Parker Smith; and his brother Robert "Bob" Sharpe (Dewayne Hedrick) of Soddy Daisy, TN.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
