With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilkie Hatmaker in Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Renate Hatmaker; his children, Beverly Hatmaker and Nathan Hatmaker; and his parents, W. D. Hatmaker and Laura Sue Hatmaker.

He is survived by : his siblings, Wilbur, Willie Hatmaker, Helen Stooksberry, Betty Staton and Shirley Bennett; his children, Cindy Hatmaker and Bob Hatmaker; his stepson Gary Spurling; and his grandchildren, Chad Elliott (Julie), Kayla Elliott, Stacey Haire, Megan Haire, Holly Hatmaker, Ryan Spurling and Becky Spurling.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland (2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Earls Cemetery.
