He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Barber and Lillian Barber; his wife Marie Barber; and his daughter Debbie Casten. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Sjoberg (Jim) of Athens, Tennessee and Jim Barber (Claudeen) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Christina Marie Sjoberg (Trey Ivins), Adrian Casten and Clint Barber; and his brother Bob Barber.
