He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harold and Jimmie Ruth Howard; and his brother-in-law Stan Hales. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Howard (Cope); his son Jeremy; his daughter-in-law Jessica Dial; his granddaughter Lucy Dial; his sister Carol Hales; and his nieces, Shannon Roark (Ryan) and Kristin Roberts (Seth). He is also survived by great-nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
