He was predeceased by: his parents, William Day and Mildred Day; and his brother Randy Day. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Day; his children, Billy Day (Tina) and Michelle Wilson (Josh); his grandchildren, Austin Day, Parker Wilson, Brenan Wilson, Dalton Payne (Riley), Spencer Smith and Carson Smith; and his brother Mike Day (Donna). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens South (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
