He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel and Wordie; and his siblings, Garry and Blanche. He is survived by: his wife Christine Campbell; his children, Christopher Campbell (Bethany), Sondra Anaya and Charlotte Morain (Shane); and his grandchildren, Zach, Cody, Ysabella, Alexander, Micah, Mashayla, Andrew and Savannah. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stuart Heights Baptist Church (3208 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, TN 37415).
In Lieu of Flowers, in memory of Charlie, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the White Oak Bicycle Cooperative, an organization dedicated to providing bicycles to children and bringing joy to families across the community, especially during the Christmas season.
