He was predeceased by : his parents, Hager Watts and Alifair Conley Watts; and his siblings, Reba Joyce Triplett (Watts), Laura Watts, J. M. Watts, Elmer Ray Watts, William Harlan Watts, Eddie Lee Watts, Robert Clinton Watts and James Olus Watts.

He is survived by : his wife Erlene Watts (Wells); his daughters, Deena Joyce (Roy Cox) and Sarah E. "Beth" (Daniel Burks); his grandchildren, Greyson E. Cox, Mattie N. Cox and Tanner C. Burks; and his siblings, Minnie Faye Ison (Floyd), Thelma Ilene (late Bill Venters), Goldy Conley (James M.) and Jerry Watts (Diane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
