He is survived by : his brother Donald Morton; his nieces and nephews, Terri Bagsby, Donna Forth, Joe Morton, Randy Morton, Becky Wright, Brian Perry, Carol Woodruff, Denise Sissom, Valerie Morton, Jimmy Donald Morton, Russell Morton, Dale Fletcher, Susan Taylor, Cheryl Barlow, Curtis Manus, Clayton West, Mike West, Mark West, Jimmy West and Barbara McCullough; his siblings-in-law, Lewis Perry and Virginia Morton (Rachel Morton); and his friend Linda Davis.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Murfreesboro Funeral Home (145 Innsbrooke Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37128). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morton Cemetery.
