It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Zamarripa of Chuckey, Tennessee, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glynn Higgins and Mary Higgins; and her son Edward "Big Ed" Moore. She is survived by: her children, Wilma Sue Roberts, Ann Roberts (Johnny), Barbara Young (Mike), Bill Moore, Don Moore (Helen), Tony Moore and Janet Johnson (Vernon); her daughter-in-law Lisa Moore; her siblings, Rosie Steele, Betty Maltsburger (David) and Elmer Higgins; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Higgins, Kathy Higgins and Jackie Baines. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home - Fall Branch (1747 TN-93, Fall Branch, TN 37656). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home (1747 TN-93, Fall Branch, TN 37656). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery (525 Pleasant Vale Rd, Chuckey, TN 37641).
