He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Dustin Lawson and Brandy Lawson; his grandchildren, John Douglas III, Damon Gladson, Jason Lawson, Katie Lawson and Gage Lawson; and his siblings, Tootsie Odom and Leon Lawson.
