He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Helton and Mattie Bass Helton; his wife Sue Helton; and his daughter Deborah Elaine Helton. He is survived by: his son Terry Helton of Church Hill; and his sisters, Nadine Cradic, Christine Cradic, Faye Viers, Belva Cradic, Sue VanAllen and Judy Meyers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
