He was predeceased by : his parents, John Archie and Myrtle Griffin Larkin; his siblings, Judith Anne Larkin and John A. Larkin; his half-brothers, Ronald Larkin and David Larkin; his brother-in-law Billy Chapman; and his nephew Chad Long.

He is survived by : his wife Betty Larkin (Chapman); his half-siblings, Margie Jean Nelson, Connie Hamby, Wanda Jean Butte (Earnest), Terry Larkin (Dawn), Lowell Larkin (Barbara) and Jackie Larkin (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Glenda (Chapman) and Ronald Long; and his caregivers, Amanda Bradley, Silver Angels, Terrie McKinney, Karen Dykes and Shelia Young. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many dear friends.
