He was predeceased by: his grandmother Naomi Onks; his aunt Cheryl Onks; and his grandparents, Grady, Pauline Carpenter and Maude Tittle.

He is survived by: his parents, Brenda Carpenter and Butch Carpenter; his sister Kristy (Peter); his nieces, Kasey and Tatum; his grandmother Vera Shelton; his close friends, Dave and Stacy; and his pet Roscoe. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
