He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Dawn DeRossett, Desiree Veenstra and Adam Ellis Gunter; his grandchildren, Makala, Madison, Gavin, Levi and Vincent; his great grandchild Jasper; and his siblings, Rebecca Bilbrey, Rose McGill and Marvin Gunter. He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clarkrange United Baptist Church (1101 W Rock Quarry Rd, Clarkrange, TN 38553). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
