He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Welch; his parents, Eugene C. Welch and Opal Welch (Stepp); his sisters, Carolyn Hassler and Wanda Sidwell; and his stepson David Wright.
He is survived by: his brother Merle Welch (Ann); his stepdaughter Sandra Presley (Charles); his stepdaughter-in-law Tammy Wright; his adoptive daughter Denise Dunaway Josie Rogers; and also, Ryan Junior and Jazmine. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren 5 Great Grandchildren.
