With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lessie Mae Carden of Clarksburg, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lessie Mae left this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Reeves and Sydney Reeves (Hale); her husband Robert Carden; and her siblings, Wilma Grant, Marie Smith, Dorothy Russell, Martha Warbritton and Felix Reeves Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Chapman of Huntingdon and Lois Carden (Phyllis); her sister Loretta McCay of New Johnsonville; and her grandchildren, Marty Thompson, Angie Thompson, Stephanie Vincent and Shannon Carden. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
