She was predeceased by: her father James Henry Thomas; and her siblings, Harold Thomas, Noble Lee Thomas, James Douglas, Maggie Graham, Callie Allen and Della Mae Graves.
She is survived by: her husband Royce Hamilton; her children, Jerry Hubbard Jr., Dean Hubbard (Demetrius), Malinda Jones (Larry) and Monica Griffey (Gerome); her stepdaughter Sherita Hamilton; and her sisters, Virginia Joseph and Bernice Reed. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
