She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn Boyd and Bertie Clark Alexander; her husband Arbie Ellis Nash; and her grandson Graham Garrett. She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Garrett (Steven) of Clarksville, TN and Martha Caywood (Tom) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Grantland Garrett, Angela Loughery (T. C.), Talbot Caywood (Katherine), Christine Gillum (Derik), Thomas Alexander Caywood and Maxwell Lowry Caywood; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Garrett, Kaylee Gillum, Garrett Gillum, Sheridan Loughery, Leighton Caywood, Moxley Caywood and Beckett Caywood.
She also served as an active volunteer in a number of organizations including the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County, Literacy Council, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), and active membership in the Democratic Women's Club, Widowed Persons Services, AARP, and Hopkinsville Professional Secretaries.
