She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thomas Yawn and Rosa Mae Lowery Yawn; her husband Clydus J. Purvis; her brother Bill Yawn; her nephew Darryl Purvis; and her son-in-law James Wilkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Purvis (Margo), Elaine Purvis, Jamie Amos (Timmy) and Elise Myers (James); her siblings, Jeanette Yawn and Jimmy Yawn (Jo Anne Hawkins); her grandchildren, Aubrey Bryant (Matt), Eric Wooten (Ashley Botts), Andrew Boutwell (Brandi), Thomas Purvis, Levi Mathews (Ashley), Arye Boutwell, Clay Purvis (Megan) and Landen Mathews (McKenzie); and her great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Bryant, Laci Mathews, Lakelyn Mathews, Lydia Mathews and Chamlee Boutwell.
