She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred R. Dumas and Dovie Elizabeth; and her siblings, Oscar, Henry, Alfred Jr., Forest, Victoria Danner, Josephine Klotz and Mary Agan.
She is survived by: her husband Homer T. Salyer; her sons, Michael Salyer (Shari) and Rev. Stewart P. Salyer (Nancy); her grandchildren, Shannon Salyer, Stewart M. Salyer, Eric Salyer and Sara Galyon; and her great grandchildren, Lacy, Graham Bryant, Gabe, Gavin Salyer, Luke Galyon, Sara and David Salyer.
