He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Hoosier (Shaw) and Alfred Irvin Hoosier, Sr.; and his brothers, Irvin Douglas Hoosier and Alfred Irvin Hoosier, Jr.. He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Ann Smith of Hopkinsville, KY, Gloria Diane Sanders (André) of Noblesville, IN, Regina Hoosier of Clarksville, TN and Glenice Johnson (Lakina) of Nashville, TN; his aunt Virdie Mae Shaw of Clarksville, TN; his nieces, Talicia Adams of Hopkinsville, KY and Deshonda Adams of Clarksville, TN; his nephew CaMariezz Sanders; and his great-nephew Davon Jiles of Hopkinsville, KY. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
