He is survived by: his wife Carol Almaraz of Clarksville; his sons, Joe Almaraz of Clarksville and Dave Almaraz of Clarksville; his stepchildren, Carolyn Scott (Eric) of Clarksville and John Prigmore of Pearland, Texas.; and his siblings, Victor Fontenot, Mike Almaraz and Janelle David of Pearland, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
