He was predeceased by: his brother James David Baggett, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Pete and Thelma Perry; and his brothers-in-law, Brad Morris and Paul Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Baggett; his daughters, Dana Proffitt (Richard Cayce) and Stacy Baggett (Brian Harrison); his siblings, Doyle Baggett (Daniella), Diane Grayer (Jesse) and Deborah Morris; his grandchildren, Katlin Mathis (Cody), Cody Newsom (Jolee) and Clayton Proffitt (Mackenzie); and his great grandchildren, Brayden Mathis and Grayson Newsom.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
