He was predeceased by: his father James Ellis Battles; and his siblings, Eugene Battles, Dorothy Lovelady and Jo Anne Brasfield. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Battles; his children, Beau Battles (Jan) and Deana Friddle (Adam Rogers); and his grandchildren, Taylor Battles, Gage Friddle, Seth Friddle, Riley Battles and Bailey Battles.
