He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Stringer and Zelia Stringer; his siblings, Gadson, Royce, Allen and Glenna; his son David Mark Stringer; and his grandsons, Chad Allen Stringer and Dustin DeWayne Stringer.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Cole of Elkton; and his children, Glenn (Hope Stringer), Jeff (Holly Stringer), Chris (Jo Stringer) and Rita Kay Stringer of Guthrie. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
