He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose A. Gonzalez and Margarita Gonzalez. He is survived by: his children, Nina M. Alvarado (Guissepe Alvarado), Christina I. Perdue (Daniel E. Perdue) and Edwin A. Gonzalez (Susie DiCesare); his grandchildren, Delilah, Catalina, Everett, Sylvie and Umpa; his brother Anthony Gonzalez (Ivy Gonzalez); his sibling's children, Mark Gonzalez, Laurie Liriano and Ivy Liriano; and his former wife Yvette Gonzalez. He is also survived by friends with along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends.
In lieu of flowers his children have set up a GoFundMe to continue contribution towards the college fund that he had set up for all four of his Grandchildren.
