She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaus Keil and Maria Murt; her husband Charlie C. Hicks; and her daughter Eva Maria Ransom (Michael). She is survived by: her children, Karl T. Hicks and Barbara Hicks-Cooper (Thomas); her grandchildren, Christina Maria Ashburn (Donald), Claire Norris (Conrad) and Keil Ladd; and her great grandchildren, Jon Tanner, Nicholas Ransom and Harper Olive Norris.
