He was predeceased by: his father Elias Walter Abbott, Sr.; and his siblings, Richard Abbott and Lib Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kathryne Abbott; his daughters, Melanie Seay (Scott), Johnnie Friddle (Mike) and Rebecca Lowe (Josh); his siblings, Elias "Bubba" Abbott and Mabel Abbott; his grandchildren, Scotttie Bonecutter (Seth), Jessica Gillis (Mike), Katie Matthews and Mickeal Abbott (Kerston); and his great grandchildren, Owen Scott Rogers Bonecutter, Beau Henry Bonecutter, Raiden Gillis, Rose Abbott, Leigh Abbott and Bennett Abbott.
