She was predeceased by: her husband Dorris Johnson Sr.; and her siblings, Dorsey Collier, Ada Mitchell, Lilli "Ozell" Griggs and Ruby Cabell.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Beeman (Bill) of Ann Arbor, MI, Freda Johnson of Ann Arbor, MI, Dorris W. Johnson Jr. of Troy, MI and John Johnson of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Edward and Elise West; and her great grandchildren, Veliza, Josiah, Maya and Keturah. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
