He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Roby and Frances Settle Roby; his brother Donald Roby; and his sister-in-law Rosemary Roby. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Bailey Roby; his children, Elizabeth Roby Stillwell (Robert) and Tim Roby; his brother Wilbur Ray Roby; and his grandchildren, Clara Jane Stillwell, William Roby Stillwell and Katherine Aylene Stillwell.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Find Us Faithful.
