He was predeceased by: his father John L. Herdman; and his brothers, Dennis Lee and Richard Earl Herdman. He is survived by: his mother Rosemary Butler Herdman; his sons, Benjamin, Daniel, John Randall, Joshua Shane and Jacob Ryan Herdman; and his sister Denise Rene Jones. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
