He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald C. Jones and Gloria Jones (Pera); and his brother Stanley Spencer Jones of Clarksville, TN.. He is survived by his former wife and caregiver Jeanne DeCrignis; his brother Jeff Jones (Joyce) of Colorado Springs; his nieces, Ginger Granati (Phil) and Laura Jeffords (Joshua) and their children Kaleb and Addison; his cousin Beth Morphew (Kenny) of Clarksville, TN.
