He is survived by: his wife Martha Love Appleton; his children, Steve Appleton (Debbie) and Terri Love Walker; his brothers, Bobby Appleton (Linda) and Charlie Appleton; and his grandchildren, Deanne Clair, David Clair, Stephenie George, Mandy Croft (John), Jennifer Hatfield (Jeremy), Melody Welker, Stacey Carlton (Brian) and Jana Slagle (Tyler).
