Helen Williams Freeman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Williams Freeman of Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Portor Williams and Virginia Frances Cowen Williams; her husband Roy Freeman; her sons, Steven Blake Freeman and John Michael Freeman; and her siblings, Dorothy Pounds, Joanne Baker, Nancy Greer, Betty Casteel, Fred Nolen Williams and John R. Williams.
She is survived by: her son James Roy "Jim" Freeman of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell (Tim) of Stewart County, TN and Jason Freeman (Joanne) of Clarksville; her sister Patricia Luckinbill of Phoenix, AZ; and her siblings-in-law, Shelby Freeman of Paris, Anne Speight of South Fulton, Alicia Williams of Nashville, Danny Freeman (Sherry) of Paris and Jerry Casteel of Paris. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McEvoy Funeral Home (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Helen's family requests in lieu of flowers and gifts, that donations be made to, First Presbyterian Church, 105 S. Market Street, Paris, TN 38242.
