He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillman Key and Mattie Lewis; and his siblings, Elfrey Key, Ted Key, Eddis Ray Key and Ailene Balthrop.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Baxter Key; his daughters, Nita Smith (David) and Kathy Stuard (Richie); his sister Virgina Nicholson; his grandchildren, Houston Smith (Jac), Grayson Smith (Katlyn), Catherine Smith, Makenzie Bryant and Cody Stuard; his great grandchildren, Landry Bryant, Braedyn Hogan, Colton Bryant, Grant Bryant, Hazel Smith, Joey Smith, Dawson Smith and Campbell Smith; and his caregivers, Sherry Brown, Antoinette Beasley and Kaylee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home (1510 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (976 Greenwood Ave, Clarksville, TN 37040).
