James Thompson Obituary
James Thompson, born on January 21, 1940, passed away on October 6, 2026. James leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thompson and Cleo Thompson; and his wife Annie L. Thompson. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Thompson (Karen) of Clarksville and Phillip Thompson (Missy) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Martha Page Thompson Welch (Andy) and Caleb James Thompson (Kaycie); and his great grandchild Lucas James Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anglin Funeral Home (402 Donelson Pkwy, Dover, TN 37058). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Page Cemetery (1450 Bumpus Mills Rd, Dover, TN 37058).
