Janet M. Butt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet M. Butt of Clarksville, Tennessee, born in Gay, West Virginia, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Theodore Payne; her husband James; her daughter Cheryl Fowler; and her siblings, Homer Payne, Rollin Payne, Nelson Payne, Elva Walker and Jessie Smith.

She is survived by: her daughter Gail Hernly; her stepdaughters, Debra Gosnell (Don) and Lynette McKee (John); her grandchildren, Tiffany Burns (Chris), Crystal Jakubowicz (Chris), Jason McKee, Stephen Jenks (Mackinsie) and Michael Jenks (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Micah Jakubowicz, Jasmine Jakubowicz, Bryant Burns, Lukas Burns, Paxton McKee, Lincoln McKee, Camden McKee, Stella McKee and Wesley Jenks; and her sister Reva Tolley. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
