He is survived by: his son Jerry O. Choate Jr.; and his sisters, Shelby Turner and Sandra Josupeit. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
