He was predeceased by: his parents, John Clifford Parks and Elma Parks (Ashby); his wife Freida Parks (Hunt); his daughter Ginny Carol Turner of Clarksville, TN; his great grandchild Landon Jenkins; and his siblings, Wanda Russell, Catherine Bishop, Edna Currier and Joe E. Parks of Moore County, TN..
He is survived by: his son John Parks (Joy); and his grandchildren, Sarah Turner Jenkins (Brian), Jordan Parks Woodard (Calvin) and Jay Parks (Makena). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home (1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
