She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertie Lee Copeland and Dovie Raines Copeland; her husband Frederick George Bruso; and her siblings, Bertie Lee Copeland Jr., Howard Copeland, Jesse Copeland, Allen Copeland, Gary Copeland, John Copeland, Dorothy Copeland, Ruthie Lyle, Queenie Roberts, Lucille Waters and Janet Rushing.
She is survived by: her sons, James, Randy and Tim Bruso; her grandchildren, Cherie Ann Bruso and Jesse Bruso; her great grandchild Colton Timothy Bruso; her sister-in-law Eleanor Reeves; and her caregiver Sheryl Paulus. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, extended family.
