She is survived by: her husband Dr. Reginald Shaw Lowe, Jr.; her daughters, Dr. Jennifer Lowe Ellis and Janet Carson Haase; and her grandchildren, Sarah Ellis, Daniel Ellis, Will Haase, Alex Haase and Katie Syner (Cliff Syner IV).
