She was predeceased by: her husband Walt Telfer; her son Darrell Wayne Walker; her parents, Lawrence Jackson Rye and Margaret Bryant Rye; and her brother Billy Rye (Brenda).
She is survived by: her children, Penny Russell (Charles) and David Lynn Walker (Freda); her grandchildren, Joshua Walker (Skye), Adam Walker (Kali), Miracle Faith Walker, Molly Russell and CJ Russell; and her brother Ted Rye (Jinny). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Kathleen Telfer will be remembered not only for her contributions to her community but also for the warmth of her spirit that touched the lives of many.
