She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Shipp and Ella Shipp; her husband William L. Adkins; her son Lonnie Ray Weems Jr.; her sister Linda O'Hara; her son Samuel Weems; her daughter-in-law Anne Weems; her niece Julie O'Hara; her granddaughters, Sara Denson and Samantha Milliken; and her great grandchildren, Kerri Ann, David, John, Finn and June.
